The contractor excavated the corners of the Rollins Road and Nicole Lane/Woodbine Drive intersection down to subgrade in preparation for sidewalk and traffic signal improvements.
Work Anticipated This Week
Installation of concrete foundations for the permanent traffic signals at the Rollins Road and Nicole Lane/Woodbine Drive intersection is anticipated. Frame and lid adjustments within the pavement along Nicole Lane and Woodbine Drive are expected to be completed in preparation for Hot Mix Asphalt surface course placement. Installation of the 4-inch aggregate base for sidewalks at the intersection corners is also planned.
Neighborhood Impacts
Construction traffic may be entering and exiting the Hook Drive Extension site at Nicole Lane. Residents and drivers in the area should use caution when traveling near the project entrance. Please watch for construction signage, follow all posted traffic control measures, and visit this website for weekly updates throughout the duration of the project.
