Work Completed This Week The contractor continued earth excavation for the proposed roadway subgrade throughout the Hook Drive Extension. Placement of topsoil was completed on parkway slopes along the east half of the corridor. The remaining topsoil stockpile was also moved outside of the roadway pavement limits.
Work Anticipated Next Week Earth excavation for the proposed roadway subgrade is expected to continue throughout the Hook Drive Extension. Placement of topsoil is scheduled to be completed on the remaining slopes along the west half of the corridor.
Neighborhood Impacts Construction traffic may be entering and exiting the Hook Drive Extension site at Nicole Lane. Residents and drivers in the area should use caution when traveling near the project entrance. Please watch for construction signage, follow all posted traffic control measures, and visit this website for weekly updates throughout the duration of the project.
