Work Completed This Week The contractor continued earth excavation for the proposed roadway subgrade throughout the Hook Drive Extension. Work activities were limited due to weather conditions.
Work Anticipated Next Week Earth excavation for the proposed roadway subgrade is expected to continue. Placement of topsoil on the remaining slopes along the west half of the corridor is scheduled to be completed. Installation of roadway pipe underdrain and aggregate subgrade is anticipated to begin. The contractor is scheduled to complete the hot tap into the existing water main along Orchard Lane.
Neighborhood Impacts Construction traffic may be entering and exiting the Hook Drive Extension site at Nicole Lane. Residents and drivers in the area should use caution when traveling near the project entrance. Please watch for construction signage, follow all posted traffic control measures, and visit this website for weekly updates throughout the duration of the project.
