Work Completed This Week The contractor continued earth excavation for the proposed roadway subgrade and final grading throughout the Hook Drive Extension. Excess material was hauled off-site, and placement of topsoil progressed along the slopes on the west half of the corridor.
Work Anticipated Next Week Earth excavation for the proposed roadway subgrade and final grading are expected to be completed throughout the Hook Drive Extension. Installation of electrical conduit for proposed street lighting is scheduled to begin. Roadway pipe underdrain and 12-inch aggregate subgrade are anticipated to be installed along the corridor. The contractor is expected to complete the hot tap into the existing water main along Orchard Lane.
Neighborhood Impacts Construction traffic may be entering and exiting the Hook Drive Extension site at Nicole Lane. Residents and drivers in the area should use caution when traveling near the project entrance.
