Sidewalk Construction Completed and Final Paving Ahead

Work Completed This Week
The contractor completed topsoil respread along Nicole Lane and Woodbine Drive. The remaining sidewalk gaps along Hook Drive and the sidewalk along the north end of Nicole Lane were prepared and poured. The Lake County Traffic Court sign was reinstalled along Nicole Lane, and mailboxes along Woodbine Drive were returned to their permanent locations. Milling of Nicole Lane and Woodbine Drive was also scheduled to begin on Saturday.

Work Anticipated Next Week
Pavement patching and placement of the asphalt leveling binder along Nicole Lane and Woodbine Drive are expected to be completed. The final lift of asphalt is scheduled to be placed on all driveways along Nicole Lane and Woodbine Drive. Permanent seed and blanket installation is anticipated to begin along Nicole Lane and Woodbine Drive, weather permitting.

Neighborhood Impacts

Construction traffic may be entering and exiting the Hook Drive Extension site at Nicole Lane. Residents and drivers in the area should use caution when traveling near the project entrance.
