Work Completed Last Week The contractor completed stabilization of both detention basins and continued storm sewer installation along Woodbine Drive. Installation of street lighting conduit along the Hook Drive Extension was completed. The maintenance transfer of the traffic signal at Rollins Road and Nicole Lane/Woodbine Lane was also completed, and installation of temporary traffic signals is underway.
The contractor excavated and graded the proposed sidewalk along the north side of the Hook Drive Extension to subgrade and installed and graded the aggregate base for the future concrete sidewalk.
Work Anticipated This Week Excavation and grading for the proposed sidewalk along the south side of the Hook Drive Extension are expected to begin, along with installation and grading of the aggregate base. Forming for the concrete sidewalk is anticipated to start along the corridor. Installation of temporary traffic signals at Rollins Road and Nicole Lane/Woodbine Lane is scheduled to continue.
Removal of curb and excavation for roadway widening along Nicole Lane are planned to begin. Installation of concrete light pole bases along the Hook Drive Extension is anticipated, and removal of transite storm sewer along Woodbine Drive is projected to take place.
Neighborhood Impacts
Construction traffic may be entering and exiting the Hook Drive Extension site at Nicole Lane. Residents and drivers in the area should use caution when traveling near the project entrance. Please watch for construction signage, follow all posted traffic control measures, and visit this website for weekly updates throughout the duration of the project.
