Binder Course Paving Completed

Work Completed This Week
The contractor installed joint sealant along the first lift of Hot Mix Asphalt binder course and finished binder course paving along the Hook Drive Extension. Both detention basins were dewatered due to weekend rain, then fine graded in preparation for final restoration. Stabilization of the basins also began.

The contractor completed a water main adjustment along Woodbine Drive, installed storm sewer along Woodbine Drive, directionally drilled street lighting conduit beneath Orchard Lane, and plowed street lighting conduit along the Hook Drive Extension.

Work Anticipated Next Week
Maintenance transfer activities and installation of temporary traffic signals at Rollins Road and Nicole Lane/Woodbine Lane are anticipated to take place. Storm sewer installation along Woodbine Drive is scheduled to continue. Stabilization of the detention basins is expected to be completed, and street lighting conduit plowing is planned to continue along the Hook Drive Extension. Excavation and grading for the proposed sidewalk are anticipated to begin along the corridor.
