Work Completed This Week Storm sewer installation continued throughout the Hook Drive Extension corridor. The contractor also continued installing water main and began placing fire hydrants along the corridor. Temporary erosion control blanket was installed to stabilize the topsoil stockpile.
Work Anticipated Next Week Water main installation is expected to continue along the Hook Drive Extension corridor, and installation of the remaining fire hydrants is scheduled to take place. Hauling of spoils and grading of the roadway to subgrade are anticipated to continue throughout the site. Completion of storm sewer installation along the Hook Drive Extension is planned.
Neighborhood Impacts Construction traffic may be entering and exiting the Hook Drive Extension site at Nicole Lane. Residents and drivers in the area should use caution when traveling near the project entrance. Please watch for construction signage, follow all posted traffic control measures, and visit this website for weekly updates throughout the duration of the project.
