Work Completed This Week The contractor installed barricades to close off the driveway aprons into Oak Hill. Curb and gutter, driveway aprons, and pavement removal continued behind Oak Hill. Topsoil stripping advanced throughout the site, and excavation and embankment placement were completed in preparation for the culvert installation.
Work Anticipated Next Week The contractor plans to complete topsoil stripping across the site. Installation of the 24-inch culvert is also scheduled, along with continued earth excavation and embankment placement.
Neighborhood Impacts Construction traffic may be entering and exiting the Hook Drive Extension site at Nicole Lane. Residents and drivers in the area should use caution when traveling near the project entrance.
